What we collect
When you request an estimate, book an inspection or contact us, we collect the details you enter: your name, phone number, email address, the property address and postcode, the answers you give about your project, and any photos you choose to upload.
On the inspection booking form, your name, phone number and email address are saved as you enter them, before you send the form, so that we can follow up if you do not finish. The form says this next to those fields. If you would rather we did not keep those details, call 0420 873 328 and we will remove them.
When you view or accept a quote through a secure link, we record that the quote was viewed, the decision you make, the name you type to accept it, and the date and time. We also keep a one-way coded form of your internet address as evidence of the acceptance; it cannot be turned back into your address.
Why we collect it
- To prepare estimates and quotes, arrange inspections and carry out the work you ask for.
- To contact you about your enquiry, quote, job or invoice.
- To keep the business and tax records we are required to keep.
- To send updates and offers, only if you ticked the separate optional box. You can withdraw that at any time.
Photos
Photos you upload are stored privately. Location and camera details embedded in photos are removed when they are saved. We do not publish a photo of your property unless you have agreed, and published project locations are shown by suburb only.
Cookies and measurement
This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. We count, in total, how often buttons such as “Get a rough estimate” are used so we can improve the site. Those counts are anonymous: they are not linked to you and contain nothing you typed.
Who sees your information
Only ERI Outdoor Solutions staff who need it to do their work. We use service providers to host this website, store its data and deliver email, and they handle information only on our behalf. We do not sell personal information.
Payments
This website does not take card payments and never asks for card details. Payment instructions are set out on your invoice.
Keeping it safe and how long we keep it
Information is sent over encrypted connections, access is limited by role and protected by two-step sign-in, and changes to quotes, invoices and payments are logged. We keep enquiry details for as long as needed to respond and follow up, and quote, job and invoice records for as long as business and tax law requires.
Your choices
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to stop contacting you, or ask us to delete information we are not required to keep. To do any of these, or to raise a privacy concern, call 0420 873 328. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
